<먼동>은 미국 콜로라도 덴버에서 Denver Digerati 주최로 열린 SUPERNOVA Digital Animation Festival 2020의 《Silent Screen》 Program을 위해 제작된 3D 영상이다. 덴버 시내에 위치한 건물 위에 설치된 대형 LED 스크린의 규격에 맞춰 만들어졌으며 소리 없는 무성 애니메이션의 형태로 상영되었다. 영상 내의 주요 이미지는 마녀들의 집회(Witches’ Sabbath)와 죽음의 춤(Dance of Death)을 시각적 모티브로 빌려와 구성되었다.

SCENARIO CONCEPT: In a city saturated with glamorous images, desires, and human incidents, there are also companion city dwellers who occupy back alley. A pigeon is one of them. They live and die, for various causes, in a city. In a dark corner of the street, along with plastic garbage bags, shattered bottles, and all unwanted and thus discarded objects, a dead body of a pigeon is left unattended and decomposing. After dusk, as the night deepens, there comes a flock of pigeons out of nowhere and starts to dance.
